Come Higher: Lay It All Down Before the Lord

{Day Six}

Beloved, do not be deceived—there is always more of God to be found. Have you tasted the sweetness of His presence, only to realize how little you have truly known Him? Has the fire of His revelation burned away the illusions of your past faith, leaving you undone? Do not shrink back. This is His mercy drawing you deeper. Remember, there is always a chance for more of God no matter the cost.

Many say they know Him, yet they walk in shadows, content with a dim reflection of His glory. But you—He is calling you higher. He is shaking the very ground beneath you, removing what can be shaken, so that only He remains. Will you resist Him? Will you cling to the old, lifeless things He is tearing away? Or will you fall before Him and say, Take it all, Lord—only give me more of You!

The Fire of His Presence Demands Everything

Isaiah saw Him and cried out, “Woe is me!” (Isaiah 6:5). Moses trembled before Him and removed his sandals (Exodus 3:5). Peter fell at Yeshua’s feet, saying, “Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, Lord!” (Luke 5:8).

What will you do when the weight of His glory comes upon you? Will you shrink back in fear, or will you press in, crying, “Burn away every impurity, Lord—only let me know You!” This is the journey of seeking more of God no matter the cost.

The Spirit is calling, but the cost is high. You cannot hold onto your comfort, your pride, your reputation, your control. He is asking for your entire life. Nothing less. All that you are, laid at His feet.

“If anyone wants to come after Me, he must deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow Me.” (Luke 9:23 NASB)

Many have stopped at salvation, satisfied that they have escaped hell. But there is more, far more. Yeshua did not die merely to rescue you from destruction—He died to bring you into the fullness of Himself. His cross was not the end of your journey but the beginning. Will you press on, or will you settle for less? Choose to seek more of God no matter the cost.

Break the Illusions—Come Into the Light

You thought you knew Him before. Perhaps you did. But now you see—there is an ocean of glory you have yet to dive into. Every revelation, every breaking, every fire He allows is an invitation: Come closer. See more. Be transformed.

Paul, a man who saw the risen Lord, who was caught up into the third heaven, who performed mighty signs and wonders, still cried out:

“I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Yeshua my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them mere rubbish, so that I may gain Christ.” (Philippians 3:8 NASB)

Are you willing to count all things as loss? Your past experiences, your reputation, your plans—will you lay them down, if only to have more of Him? This is the path of desiring more of God no matter the cost.

The lukewarm will not see His face. The comfortable will not taste the depths of His presence. But to the hungry, to the desperate, to those who cry out, “More of You, Lord!”—He will reveal Himself.

Will You Answer His Call?

This moment is holy. He is drawing you now. You feel the stirring, the weight of His voice calling you out of shallow waters. Will you listen? Will you follow?

Do not delay. Do not harden your heart. Lay everything down and run after Him. He is waiting to fill you with more of Himself than you ever thought possible. Truly, you can have more of God no matter the cost.

A Prayer of Surrender

Father, I hear You calling, and I will not turn away. I lay my life at Your feet—every dream, every plan, every comfort. Burn away everything that is not of You. Take me deeper. Open my eyes. Break me if You must, but do not let me remain as I am. I want You, Lord—more of You, no matter the cost. I give You my whole heart. In Yeshua’s name, amen.

Day Four: The Freedom of His Presence

“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. But we all, with unveiled faces, looking as in a mirror at the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.” — 2 Corinthians 3:17-18 (NASB) This passage beautifully illustrates the concept of Freedom in Yeshua.

“The mountains melted like wax at the presence of the LORD, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.” — Psalm 97:5 (NASB)

Where the presence of Yeshua is, there is true freedom in Yeshua. The world offers a counterfeit—self-sufficiency, fleeting pleasure, and so-called independence that only leads to deeper bondage. But true liberty is found in surrendering to El Shaddai, the Almighty God, who alone breaks every chain.

When His presence fills a place, sin loses its grip. Fear, anxiety, and oppression cannot stand before the radiance of His glory. Just as light dispels darkness, the Spirit of the Lord shatters strongholds that seek to enslave His people. You were never meant to live bound by sin, fear, or the opinions of others. You were created to walk in the freedom of His love, fully surrendered to His will, fully alive in His grace.

But this freedom is not the world’s version—it is not the right to do whatever you please. It is freedom from sin, not freedom to sin. It is the ability to walk in righteousness, to experience the joy of His presence, and to live unshaken by the storms of this world.

Are you carrying burdens that feel impossible to break? Press into the presence of El Shaddai to experience freedom in Yeshua. Seek His face in worship, in prayer, in His Word. The more you abide in Him, the more you will walk in the liberty of His Spirit. Every chain will fall. Every weight will lift. And you will step into the fullness of His freedom.

Prayer for Freedom

Abba Father, I long to dwell in Your presence, where true freedom reigns. Break every chain that binds me, and remove every weight that keeps me from walking fully in You. Let Your Spirit flood my life, filling every corner with Your light and truth. Teach me to abide in You daily so that I may walk in the freedom You have given me through Yeshua. I surrender every fear, sin, and burden to You. Lead me into deeper intimacy with You, for in Your presence, I am truly free. Amen.

Surrendered Hearts Bring Healing

“Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation, namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their wrongdoings against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation.” — 2 Corinthians 5:18-19 (NASB)

When we surrender to El Shaddai, He moves through us to heal the land. The power of true surrender is that it does not stop with us—His Spirit works in and through us to bring restoration. His presence transforms us so that His glory may be revealed on the earth.

The world is broken, but Yeshua has given us the ministry of reconciliation and freedom in Yeshua (2 Corinthians 5:18). He calls us to stand in the gap—to intercede, to proclaim His truth, to be vessels of His presence. When we humble ourselves, seek His face, and turn from sin, He responds with healing (2 Chronicles 7:14). This is not just a promise—it is a call to action.

The enemy wants the Church distracted, divided, and silent. But now is the time to rise up in faith. Revival does not begin with a building; it begins with surrendered hearts. And when God’s people move in step with Him, revival spreads like fire.

Let this be our prayer:

Father, we surrender to You. Move through us, cleanse us, and make us vessels of Your healing power. Let Your presence flow from our lives and transform our cities, our families, and our nation. May Your name be exalted as You restore what is broken and bring freedom in Yeshua. In Yeshua’s name, Amen.

Draw Near—He is Here

“Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.” — James 4:8 (NASB)

That deep longing—to be held close, to be known, to be secure—resonates in every human heart. Yeshua is near. He does not stand at a distance, waiting for you to figure it all out. He is actively drawing near to those who call upon Him in truth.

Let your heart find rest in Him. He is your refuge, your strength, and the One who carries you when you have no strength left. Press into Him. Seek His face. Let His presence surround you like a shield, for in Him, there is freedom in Yeshua.

He is faithful. He will never let you go.

Abba, hold this heart close. Let Your presence be felt in a way that leaves no room for doubt. Fill every empty space with Your love and draw them deeper into You. In Yeshua’s name, Amen.

Renew Your Mind

The mind is the battlefield where spiritual victories and defeats take place. Your thoughts directly influence your actions, emotions, and the condition of your heart. Therefore, renewing your mind daily is essential for living a life pleasing to God. The Bible reminds us, “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, think about these things” (Philippians 4:8, NASB 2020). This verse serves as both a guide and a challenge to focus on God’s truth instead of the noise around you.

Why You Must Renew Your Mind Daily

Without renewal, your mind becomes vulnerable to worldly influences, fear, and distractions. The world constantly tries to conform you to its patterns, filling your thoughts with doubt and negativity. But God calls you to transformation through the renewing of your mind. As Romans 12:2 (NASB 2020) urges, “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.”

Think of your mind like a garden. If you neglect it, weeds will overrun it. However, if you tend to it daily—removing weeds, planting seeds, and watering them—it will flourish. Similarly, God’s Word and prayer act as tools to cultivate a pure, renewed mind.

How to Align Your Thoughts with God’s Truth

1. Start Your Day with Prayer

Each morning, ask God to renew your mind and align your thoughts with His truth. Pray as David did: “Create in me a clean heart, God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me”(Psalm 51:10, NASB 2020). By beginning the day with this request, you set the tone for a Christ-centered mindset.

2. Meditate on God’s Word

Meditate on Scriptures that reflect what is pure, honorable, and praiseworthy. For example, read Philippians 4:8 and consider how your current thoughts align with these virtues. When negative or fearful thoughts arise, counter them with God’s promises, such as “You will keep in perfect peace the one whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in You” (Isaiah 26:3, NASB 2020).

3. Guard Your Mind

Be intentional about what you consume. The media, conversations, and entertainment you engage with all shape your thoughts. Ask yourself: Does this reflect what is pure, lovely, and commendable? If not, replace it with something that does.

4. Take Every Thought Captive

When intrusive or negative thoughts arise, take them captive and make them obedient to Christ. As 2 Corinthians 10:5 (NASB 2020) says, “We are destroying arguments and all arrogance raised against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ.” Picture yourself capturing those thoughts like a bird in a net and handing them over to Yeshua.

Illustration: The Renewed Mind is Like a Filter

Imagine a water filter. Without it, impurities pollute the water, making it harmful to drink. Your mind works the same way. If you allow unfiltered thoughts to remain, they can pollute your heart and actions. Renewing your mind daily is like installing a spiritual filter that keeps impurities out and allows God’s truth to flow freely.

The Results of a Renewed Mind

When you renew your mind daily, you experience transformation. You will notice a shift in how you react to challenges and perceive the world. You’ll walk in greater peace, as God promises in Isaiah 26:3. Your heart will also grow in purity, allowing you to see God more clearly, as Yeshua declared: “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God” (Matthew 5:8, NASB 2020).

Final Plea: Make Renewal a Daily Priority

Don’t wait until you feel overwhelmed or lost to seek God’s renewal. Make it a daily practice. Set aside time every morning to pray, read the Word, and refocus your thoughts on the things of God. Doing this will prepare you to face the day with the strength and clarity that only Yeshua can provide.

Prayer for Daily Renewal:

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Word that renews and restores us. We ask You to create in us clean hearts and renew steadfast spirits within us. Help us to think about what is true, honorable, and worthy of praise. Guard our minds from negativity and lies, and help us take every thought captive to the obedience of Yeshua. We surrender to Your will and ask for Your Spirit to transform us daily. In Yeshua’s name, we pray. Amen.

Purity Reflects Truth

God’s truth is eternal and unchanging. It calls us to more than knowledge—it calls us to transformation. In this article, we’ll explore how living in God’s truth and engaging with God’s Word leads to purity, sanctification, and a life aligned with His moral standards.

What is God’s Truth?

The truth of God is perfect and steadfast. As Paul reminds us, “Whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure… think about these things” (Philippians 4:8 NASB). Yet, while God’s truth is pure, our understanding of it is often shaped by our human limitations.

Just as clay bears the imprint of the potter’s hand, so does truth bear the imprint of the mind that receives it. Our response to God’s Word determines how deeply His truth transforms us and helps us in living aligned with God’s Truth.

Truth Requires an Active Mind

Truth does not passively shape us; it demands an active pursuit. As Paul writes, “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind” (Romans 12:2 NASB). This renewal happens when we actively engage with Scripture, allowing the Holy Spirit to lead us into all truth (John 16:13 NASB).

Without this engagement, truth may remain untouched by the heart. God’s truth requires not just intellectual acknowledgment but spiritual submission. When we allow His Word to guide our thoughts and actions, it transforms us from within, reflecting living in God’s truth.

Purity Reflects the Truth You Hold

The moral standards of God’s people reflect how fully they have embraced His truth. If our lives fail to reflect purity, we demonstrate that His Word has not taken root in our hearts. Yet, Scripture assures us that God’s Word is eternal: “The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever” (Isaiah 40:8 NASB).

Living in alignment with God’s truth requires daily sanctification. As Jesus prayed for His disciples, “Sanctify them in the truth; Your word is truth” (John 17:17 NASB). This sanctification is not a one-time event but a continual process as we press into God’s presence, thereby living in truth.

How to Live in God’s Truth

To live in purity and truth, you must actively seek God. Here are three steps to guide you:

  1. Pursue God Daily

Spend time in prayer and Scripture each day. As Jeremiah reminds us, “You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart” (Jeremiah 29:13 NASB). Prioritize time with God, allowing His Spirit to guide your understanding and allowing you to live in God’s truth.

  1. Renew Your Mind

Let go of worldly patterns and align your thoughts with God’s truth. Meditate on passages like Philippians 4:8, focusing on what is true, honorable, and pure.

  1. Reflect His Holiness

Your life should mirror God’s truth. When you embrace His Word, it changes how you think, speak, and act. Aim to be a reflection of His light in a dark world.

A Prayer for Purity and Truth

Father, I come before You, seeking Your truth. Renew my mind, purify my heart, and align my life with Your perfect will. Sanctify me through Your Word, and let me walk in the light of Your holiness. Help me in living in Your truth. In the name of Yeshua, Amen.

Final Thoughts on Truth and Purity

God’s truth is not only to be understood but to be lived. As you press into His Word, allow it to shape every aspect of your life. Seek Him daily, renew your mind, and reflect His holiness to the world around you. This is what living in God’s truth entails.

Light Without Sight: Asking El Shaddai for Wisdom

PREFACE

I am going to start trying to use HEBREW names of God in articles, as IMHO they are richer in meaning than the normal English translations. Below is a key for this article: remember to ask El Shaddai for wisdom when seeking deeper understanding.

  • El Shaddai (God Almighty) emphasizes His power and provision, which fits when speaking of His generosity in giving wisdom.
  • Yeshua (Jesus) is appropriate when discussing salvation, the gospel, or light, as He is the Light of the World.
  • Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) is used when referring to spiritual guidance, illumination, or empowerment.
  • Adonai (Lord) is often used when addressing God’s authority and sovereignty.
  • Elohim (God, Creator) highlights His divine majesty and role as the source of wisdom and truth.
  • Abba (Father) emphasizes the intimate, relational aspect of God, particularly in prayer.

Light Without Sight: Asking El Shaddai for Wisdom

Dear reader, have you ever felt lost, uncertain of what to do, or overwhelmed by the decisions before you? El Shaddai, the Almighty God, invites you to come to Him and ask for wisdom. James 1:5–8 (NASB) speaks directly to you:

“But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But he must ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind. For that person ought not to expect that he will receive anything from the Lord, being a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.”

This is not a passive invitation. El Shaddai desires to generously give wisdom to you—but He asks for faith in return. When you approach Him, you must trust His goodness, power, and faithfulness. Doubt will only rob you of the peace and stability He offers.

Faith Unlocks the Wisdom of Elohim

When you ask Yeshua, the Light of the World, for wisdom, you must approach Him fully convinced of His ability to guide you. James warns against being double-minded, describing doubt as being “like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind.” Doubt creates instability, leaving your heart torn between trust in Elohim and the distractions of this world.

The truth is, wisdom is not just intellectual knowledge—it is a gift of the Spirit, rooted in a deep relationship with Adonai. Proverbs 9:10 (NASB) reminds us: “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.” This holy reverence for God leads to wisdom that transforms your decisions and your life.

The Gospel Brings Light and Sight

As you seek wisdom, consider these words from 2 Corinthians 4:4 (NASB):

“The god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers so that they will not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.”

Satan blinds hearts and minds, preventing many from seeing Yeshua’s light and responding to it. This blindness doesn’t just affect unbelievers; it can creep into our hearts as doubt, pride, or distraction. You may know the truth, yet still lack the spiritual sight to walk in it fully.

Even Benjamin Franklin, brilliant as he was, illustrates this tragic reality. Despite hearing the gospel from the evangelist George Whitefield, he admitted he remained unconverted. He had light but lacked sight. Only the Spirit of God can open blinded eyes to see and respond to the truth.

How to Ask for Wisdom

El Shaddai offers wisdom to you freely, but He asks for your faith in return. Here’s how you can receive His wisdom: 1. Ask Boldly in Faith: Trust that Yeshua hears you and is eager to answer. “And all things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive” (Matthew 21:22, NASB). 2. Reject Doubt: Refuse to be tossed around by fear or uncertainty. Instead, anchor yourself in the promises of Elohim. 3. Seek His Presence Daily: True wisdom comes from intimacy with Yeshua. Spend time in prayer and His Word. “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path” (Psalm 119:105, NASB). 4. Rely on the Spirit: Invite Ruach HaKodesh, the Holy Spirit, to lead and guide you in every decision.

A Prayer for Wisdom and Sight

Beloved, as you seek wisdom, remember that Adonai desires to draw you closer to Him. Pray with confidence:

Abba Father, thank You for Your promise to give wisdom generously to all who ask in faith. I lay my doubts at Your feet and trust You completely. Open my eyes to see Your truth and help me walk in Your light. By Your Spirit, guide my steps and make me a light for others, that they too may see Your glory in Yeshua, the Light of the World. Amen.

Let His Light Guide You

Beloved, don’t live in darkness or confusion. Seek El Shaddai with all your heart, and He will give you wisdom and clarity. Let the light of Yeshua transform your life, for He is the Light of the World, and in Him, there is no darkness at all.

Victory Through the Blood of Jesus: Freedom for the Children of God

Beloved, hear this: you were not created to live in bondage. You were made for freedom, purchased by the blood of Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world (John 1:29). Do not be deceived, for the war within your soul is real. Sin battles to enslave you, the flesh is weak, and the enemy seeks to destroy. Yet take heart, for the victory through the blood of Jesus is already won!

The Blood of Jesus: Breaking Every Chain

Even the Apostle Paul cried out in anguish over this struggle, saying, “For I do not do the good I want to do, but I practice the very evil that I do not want” (Romans 7:19 NASB). But beloved, the Lord does not leave us in this state of despair. Through the cross, He has provided the answer to this war: His blood, ensuring victory through the blood of Jesus.

The blood of Jesus is not merely a symbol, nor is it weak or insufficient. It is powerful beyond comprehension, able to cleanse the darkest sin, heal the deepest wound, and break the strongest chain. The Word of God declares, “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow” (Isaiah 1:18 AMP).

Think on this, beloved: what sin can stand against the blood of Christ? What chain can hold fast when His power is at work? It is written, “The Son of Man came to seek and to save that which was lost” (Luke 19:10 AMP). You are not beyond His reach. His blood is enough to grant you victory through the blood of Jesus.

Through His blood, He has transferred us from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of light (Colossians 1:13-14 AMP). You are no longer a slave to sin but a child of God, freed to walk in the light as He is in the light (1 John 1:7 AMP).

The Struggle: A Battle Already Won

Though you may feel the weight of sin and the constant pull of temptation, know this: you do not fight alone. The Spirit of God dwells within you, empowering you to overcome. Jesus Himself said, “Take courage; I have overcome the world” (John 16:33 AMP).

The enemy will lie to you, whispering that you are too far gone, too broken, or too weak to walk in freedom. But the Word of God is clear: “If the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed” (John 8:36 AMP). Indeed, this is victory through the blood of Jesus.

The Call: Come to the Cross

Beloved, do not remain in your chains. Come to the One who has already broken them. Bring your sin, your shame, and your struggles to the foot of the cross. He will not turn you away. Jesus said, “Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28 AMP).

Do not be deceived into thinking you can fight this battle on your own. The flesh is weak, but His Spirit is mighty. Surrender your life to Him, and let His blood do what only it can do—cleanse, redeem, and restore, providing victory through the blood of Jesus.

The Testimony: Freedom Proclaimed

Once the chains are broken, do not remain silent. Your freedom is not only for you; it is a testimony to the power and love of God. The Scriptures declare, “Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy” (Psalm 107:2 AMP).

Beloved, think of those around you who are still bound by sin and shame. They walk in darkness, unaware that the victory has already been won for them. Let your testimony be a light that leads them to the truth. As Jesus commanded the man He healed, “Go home to your people and report to them what great things the Lord has done for you, and how He had mercy on you” (Mark 5:19 AMP).

The Promise: Freedom Eternal

The chains that once held you will not return if you remain in Him. Abide in the light, walk in His truth, and declare His glory. You are no longer a slave to sin but a child of the living God, sealed by His Spirit and redeemed by His blood.

A Prayer for Freedom and Victory

Heavenly Father, I come before You in humility, acknowledging my need for Your saving power. Lord Jesus, I thank You for the blood You shed for me, breaking every chain and washing me clean. I surrender my struggles, my sin, and my shame to You. Fill me with Your Spirit and give me the strength to walk in the light of Your truth. Let my life be a testimony of Your power and love, and use me to lead others to Your freedom. In the mighty name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

Beloved, come to Him. Lay your chains at the foot of the cross and rise in the freedom purchased by His blood. Walk in victory. Share His light. Proclaim His glory. For He is faithful, and He has overcome, ensuring victory through the blood of Jesus.

Rise Up: Restore What Is Broken

Beloved, the time has come. God is calling His people—His chosen ones—to rise and rebuild what has been lost. The breaches in our families, our communities, and even in the foundation of our faith cry out for restoration. Yet the Lord has declared this promise over you: “Those from among you will rebuild the ancient ruins; you will raise up the age-old foundations; and you will be called the repairer of the breach, the restorer of the streets in which to dwell” (Isaiah 58:12 NASB). This is no small task, yet it is a holy one. The Father’s hand is upon you for such a time as this.

Look around and see the destruction: homes broken by division, lives torn by sin, and hearts far from God. Yet even now, the Lord is preparing a remnant who will rise and restore His purposes on the earth. The call is urgent. Ezekiel recorded God’s lament: “I searched for a man among them who would build up a wall and stand in the gap before Me for the land…but I found no one” (Ezekiel 22:30 NASB). Will you be the one who steps forward? Will you be the repairer He seeks? Will you be the repairer of the breach?

The Call to Rebuild

This work is not for the faint of heart. It is a divine calling that requires both faith and action. As Nehemiah rebuilt Jerusalem’s walls amid opposition, so you must rebuild the spiritual walls in your own life and community. Yet take courage, for the Lord Himself will strengthen you. He promises: “Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says the Lord of armies” (Zechariah 4:6 NASB).

What are these ancient ruins you must rebuild? They are the foundations of righteousness, justice, and truth—pillars that have been eroded by sin and complacency. The Lord desires to restore these through you. He has anointed you for this very purpose, as Isaiah proclaims: “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the humble; He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim release to captives” (Isaiah 61:1 NASB). Becoming the repairer of the breach entails such restoration.

Standing in the Gap

The breach in the wall represents the place where the enemy has entered—where brokenness has taken hold. You are called to stand in that gap through prayer, intercession, and bold action. Do not underestimate the power of a surrendered heart. The Lord has promised: “The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much” (James 5:16 NASB). In the secret place of prayer, you will receive the wisdom and strength needed to step into this work.

But prayer alone is not enough. Faith must be followed by action. Seek the Lord for where He is calling you to restore. Perhaps it is within your own family—mending broken relationships and leading loved ones back to Christ. Perhaps it is in your church, your workplace, or your community. Wherever the breach exists, you are called to be the repairer of the breach and rebuild with God’s truth and love.

How to Begin the Work

  1. Seek His Presence: Before you can restore others, you must first be restored by Him. Press into God daily through prayer and His Word. Allow Him to fill you with His Spirit and guide your steps.
  2. Intercede for Others: Stand in the gap for your family, church, and nation. Cry out to the Lord for His mercy and healing.
  3. Take Bold Steps: Be willing to act on what He shows you. Whether it is sharing the gospel, meeting a need, or confronting sin, trust that He will equip you.
  4. Trust His Faithfulness: Do not fear opposition, for the Lord has promised: “Be strong and courageous! Do not be terrified nor dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go” (Joshua 1:9 NASB).

A Call to Action

The urgency of this call cannot be overstated. God is calling His people to awaken, to rise, and to act. Souls hang in the balance. This is your time to be the hands and feet of Christ, to proclaim His truth, and to shine His light in the darkness. Let your heart echo the prayer of Isaiah: “Here I am, send me!” (Isaiah 6:8 NASB).

Prayer

Heavenly Father, we hear Your call to rebuild what has been broken. Forgive us for where we have been complacent. Raise us up as repairers of the breach and restorers of righteousness. Fill us with Your Spirit so that we may stand boldly in the gap and proclaim Your truth. Strengthen our hands for the work ahead, and let Your glory be revealed through our obedience. In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Beloved, do not delay. The Lord is calling you today to rise up and restore what is broken. Step into this holy work and watch as His glory transforms lives through your obedience. This is your moment. Will you answer the call to be the repairer of the breach?

God Knows You

Beloved, I invite you to open your hearts to the presence of God as we dwell on this life-changing truth: God knows you. He knows the depths of your heart, the struggles you face, the sins you hide, and the desires you carry. Nothing is hidden from Him, and yet He calls you to Himself with love and mercy. This is the God we serve—omniscient, righteous, and full of grace.

Today, let us step into the light of His Word, allowing the Holy Spirit to illuminate His truth in our hearts. This is not a message to simply hear but one to receive, to respond to, and to live out.

God Knows You Personally

From the very beginning, God has revealed Himself as the One who seeks relationship with His creation. In the Garden of Eden, when Adam and Eve hid in shame, God called out, “Where are you?” (Genesis 3:9 AMP). He wasn’t asking because He didn’t know. He was calling Adam to step out of hiding and into the truth.

Are you hiding today? Maybe you’re carrying guilt, shame, or fear, and you believe no one could understand or forgive you. Hear this: God already knows, and He still calls you. He called Cain after Abel’s murder, not to condemn him outright, but to give him the chance to confess and repent (Genesis 4:9). God’s questions are invitations. Will you respond?

Psalm 139:1 declares, “O Lord, You have searched me [thoroughly] and have known me.” God knows your thoughts, your struggles, and your victories. Nothing is hidden from Him—not even the things you’ve locked away in the darkest corners of your heart. And yet, beloved, He still loves you and calls you by name.

God Knows Your Heart

One of the most sobering truths in Scripture is this: “Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart” (1 Samuel 16:7 AMP). God is not fooled by appearances. He sees your motives, your intentions, and your struggles. This should both humble us and comfort us.

We cannot fake righteousness before God. He sees through the masks we wear and the excuses we make. But this truth also means we don’t have to pretend. God already knows the worst about us, and yet He loves us completely.

David prayed, “Search me [thoroughly], O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts” (Psalm 139:23 AMP). Have you invited God to search your heart? It’s not easy to pray this prayer. It’s not easy to ask God to reveal the areas where we fall short. But beloved, it is necessary if we want to walk in the fullness of His purpose.

God Judges Righteously

Because God knows all things, His judgments are always right. He doesn’t guess, and He isn’t swayed by circumstances. Jeremiah 17:10 says, “I, the Lord, search and examine the mind, I test the heart… to give to each one [a reward or punishment] according to his ways.”

This truth should stir us to action. Are we living in a way that pleases God? Are our motives pure? Proverbs 21:2 reminds us, “Every man’s way is right in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs and examines the hearts [of people and their motives].”

But hear this, beloved: God’s judgment isn’t just about condemnation—it’s about redemption. He knows the areas where you are weak, and He stands ready to strengthen you. He sees the sin you carry, and He offers forgiveness through the blood of Jesus Christ. His knowledge of you is not to harm you, but to heal you.

God’s Knowledge Is a Comfort

For the believer, God’s omniscience is not a reason to fear—it is a reason to rejoice. Psalm 33:14 says, “From His dwelling place He looks closely at all the inhabitants of the earth.” God sees you, and He knows your story. He sees the battles you’ve fought, the prayers you’ve cried, and the faith you’ve held onto in the storm.

Even the things that seem hidden to the world are clear to Him. Job declared, “Sheol [the place of the dead] is naked before God, and Abaddon [the place of destruction] has no covering [from His eyes]” (Job 26:6 AMP). There is no place so dark that God’s light cannot reach. There is no situation so broken that God’s knowledge cannot redeem it.

Let this truth settle in your spirit: God sees you, and He is for you.

Respond to God’s Call

The question before you today is simple: How will you respond to the God who knows you? Will you continue to hide, or will you surrender? Will you allow Him to refine your heart, or will you resist?

Hebrews 4:12 tells us that “the Word of God is living and active and full of power… exposing and judging the very thoughts and intentions of the heart.” Beloved, God’s Word is working even now, cutting through every excuse, every wall, and every lie you’ve believed. He is calling you to repentance, to intimacy, to transformation.

Let us not harden our hearts but instead echo the words of David: “Examine me, O Lord, and try me; test my heart and my mind” (Psalm 26:2 AMP). This is a prayer of surrender. This is the prayer of one who truly desires to walk in the light of God’s truth.

A Spirit-Filled Prayer

O Lord, You who know all things, we come before You with open hearts. Search us, O God, and reveal what is hidden within us. Where there is sin, grant us repentance. Where there is brokenness, bring healing. Where there is doubt, strengthen our faith.

Thank You for knowing us fully and loving us still. Teach us to walk in Your ways, to live in the light of Your truth, and to trust in Your perfect knowledge. Fill us with Your Spirit, that we may glorify You in all we do. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Beloved, as you leave this message, remember this truth: You are fully known by God, and He is calling you to surrender. Let today be the day you step into the light of His presence. Trust Him, for He knows the plans He has for you—plans for good and not for evil, plans to give you a future and a hope. Respond to Him with all your heart.

A Divine Invitation

He came to His own, and those who were His own did not receive Him. But to as many as did receive and welcome Him, He gave the right to become children of God… (John 1:11-13 AMP)

The profound truth of the Gospel is this: God invites us to become His children through faith in His Son, Jesus Christ. From the moment He stepped into the world, Jesus, the Creator of all things, faced rejection from those He called His own. Yet, His mission was not thwarted. Instead, He extended His arms to welcome anyone who would believe in Him—granting them the right to become children of God.

The Heart of the Gospel

This passage reveals the depths of God’s love and the richness of His grace. Jesus offers not just forgiveness, but transformation. Those who believe in Him are not born into God’s family through human means—neither by lineage, personal effort, nor the will of others. Instead, they experience a supernatural birth, a work of God Himself. This is the fulfillment of Ezekiel 36:26, where God promised, “Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you.”

Receiving Christ: The Key to Sonship

The focus keyphrase of this message is simple yet profound: becoming children of God. This transformation begins when we receive Jesus, trust in His name, and rely on Him completely. To “receive” Christ is more than an acknowledgment of His existence; it is to welcome Him into every part of our lives. As Revelation 3:20 declares, “Behold, I stand at the door [of the heart] and continually knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him [restore him], and he with Me.”

Adoption into God’s Family

The privilege of becoming children of God is not merely symbolic. It is an eternal reality. Romans 8:15 proclaims, “For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading again to fear [of God’s judgment], but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons [the Spirit producing sonship] by which we [joyfully] cry, ‘Abba! Father!’” This adoption gives us access to the Father’s love, His protection, and His inheritance.

To those who believe in Jesus, God says, “You are Mine.”

A Call to Transformation

As children of God, our lives must reflect His character. Paul reminds us in 2 Corinthians 5:17, “Therefore if anyone is in Christ [that is, grafted in, joined to Him by faith in Him as Savior], he is a new creature [reborn and renewed by the Holy Spirit]; the old things [the previous moral and spiritual condition] have passed away. Behold, new things have come [because spiritual awakening brings a new life].”

This spiritual transformation is both an identity and a calling. We are sanctified, renewed, and set apart for His purposes. This is why the world must see in us a reflection of His light, for “You are the light of [Christ to] the world” (Matthew 5:14 AMP).

Pressing Into God’s Presence

To fully embrace our identity as children of God, we must draw nearer to Him daily. James 4:8 encourages us, “Come close to God [with a contrite heart] and He will come close to you.” Pursuing God means surrendering ourselves completely to His will and seeking His presence above all else.

It is in His presence that we are transformed.

A Divine Call to You

Beloved, hear this truth: God has given you the right to be His child. This is not something you can earn; it is His gift of grace. Will you receive it? Will you press into Him, trust Him, and allow Him to transform you? Today is the day to say yes to the One who calls you His own.

A Prayer for Transformation

Heavenly Father,
We stand in awe of Your love and mercy. Thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus, to give us the right to become Your children. Lord, help us to fully receive this gift, to trust in Your name, and to walk as children of the light. Transform our hearts and renew our spirits daily. May our lives reflect Your glory and draw others to You.
In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen.

Let us pursue Him with all our hearts, for we are not merely His creation; we are His children, born of God and set apart for His glory.

Fan the flame of God’s gift

In this season of Advent, we remember the coming of Christ—His first arrival as a child and the promise of His return as King. This is a season of reflection, hope, and expectation. But it is also a season of action—a time to rekindle the fire of God’s purpose within us and fan the flame of God’s gift.

When the angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in Matthew 1:20-21, he said: “Do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. She will bear a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.” In the same way, the Holy Spirit has planted a purpose, a calling, and gifts within you. Like Joseph, we must reject fear and embrace what God has conceived in us.

The Apostle Paul’s words to Timothy provide an urgent reminder: “I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God which is in you… For God has not given us a spirit of timidity, but of power and of love and of sound judgment” (2 Timothy 1:6-7 AMP). Paul recognized that fear and intimidation can weaken even the strongest believers, reducing their passion to mere embers. But he also knew the truth: God’s power and presence are always available to stir the fire within us.

Do Not Let the Flame Die

There are seasons in life when the flame of God’s calling feels weak—times when fear, weariness, and discouragement threaten to silence the gifts God has placed in us. Perhaps you feel like the embers of your faith are barely glowing. But hear this: The fire is not gone. It only needs to be stirred.

Paul’s instruction to “fan into flame” is both a command and a promise. You have a role to play in reviving the fire within you. Like a flame that requires oxygen and fuel, the gifts of God need to be nurtured with prayer, time in His Word, and faith-filled action. Advent calls us to this very work: to prepare our hearts, renew our strength, and reignite our passion for His purpose.

God’s Work in You Mirrors His Advent Promise

Advent teaches us that God works in ways we do not always see or understand. The child conceived in Mary was not an ordinary child, and the work He does within you is not ordinary either. As the angel declared, “Do not be afraid… for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.” In the same way, what God has begun in you is of Him.

God has given you gifts to share with the world, a light to shine in dark places. Jesus Himself says, “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden” (Matthew 5:14 AMP). Your gifts are not small, and your calling is not insignificant. This world needs what God has placed within you.

Practical Steps to Fan the Flame

1. Return to the Word of God

God’s Word is the fuel for your spiritual fire. “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path” (Psalm 119:105 AMP). Spend time daily in Scripture, allowing His truth to renew your mind and ignite your faith.

2. Pray and Invite the Holy Spirit to Move

The Holy Spirit is the fire within you. Just as He filled the early church with boldness and power, He is ready to refresh and empower you. “Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit,” says the Lord of hosts (Zechariah 4:6 AMP).

3. Reject Fear and Discouragement

Fear is the enemy’s tool to silence your calling. Yet God has declared, “The righteous are bold as a lion” (Proverbs 28:1 AMP). Refuse to let intimidation steal your purpose. Declare His promises and walk in His strength.

4. Share Your Light with Others

The gifts God has given you are meant to bless others and glorify Him. Jesus calls us to action: “Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven” (Matthew 5:16 AMP).

A Call to Action

Beloved, now is not the time to let your fire grow cold. The same Spirit who spoke to Joseph, who empowered Mary, and who filled Timothy with boldness, dwells within you. Fan into flame the gift of God. Blow upon the embers of your faith with prayer, surrender, and obedience. God has placed His light within you—do not let fear or weariness diminish it.

The Advent message is one of hope and preparation. Christ has come to bring life, light, and salvation, and He has called you to carry that light to the world. The gifts He has placed in you are not for you alone; they are for a world desperate for His truth and love.

A Prayer to Fan the Flame

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for the gifts You have placed within me. Forgive me for the times I have allowed fear, doubt, or discouragement to weaken my passion for Your purpose. I ask You now to fan into flame the gifts You have given me. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and empower me to walk boldly in Your calling. Let my life shine brightly for Your glory, reflecting the hope of Christ to those around me.

In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

A Decree for Advent

We decree that the gifts of God within us are stirred afresh. Fear is broken, boldness arises, and the fire of the Holy Spirit burns brightly in us.

This Advent, fan the flame. Christ has come, and He is coming again. Let your life burn for Him.
